вЂњWith his innovative techniques and spiritual color philosophies, Chor Boogie is the king.вЂќ He has resided in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2007 where he has been an active member of the street art community and has painted several notable commissioned public murals including вЂњThe Eyes of San Francisco,вЂќ вЂњPurgatory,вЂќ and вЂњOpium Horizons.вЂќ Chor integrates traditional African imagery and elements of his iboga visions in select contemporary works, visually transmitting the very heart of the medicine and the Bwiti culture of healing.

He then traveled to Africa to receive full initiation into his shamanвЂ™s Bwiti tribe and undergo the traditional Bwiti menвЂ™s Rite of Passage. In 2014, Chor experienced a profound physical and spiritual healing with the aid of a traditional African Bwiti shaman and the African visionary sacred plant medicine, iboga. Through his dynamic range of artistic styles, Chor addresses issues of race, class, gender, neo-imperialism, corporate corruption, substance abuse, health care, drug policy reform, and the rights of indigenous peoples.Д¬hor uses his voice as an artist and public figure to raise awareness about indigenous African wisdom traditions. He draws inspiration from artists such as Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Rembrandt, Klimt, Van Gogh, Dali along with his early personal spray paint mentors Phase2, Vulcan, and Riff170 who were among the first notable creators in the street art and hip hop cultural movements. He was first nurtured by the world of street art and is primarily a self-taught artist. He approaches his use of color as a form of therapy and visual medicine, and has been dubbed вЂњthe color shamanвЂќ by comrades and fans. His portraits have been commissioned by celebrities such as Hugh Hefner, Jay Z, the artist formerly known as Prince, Lady Sovereign, Wu-Tang Clan, Rage Against the Machine, and N.W.A.Д¬hor Boogie is recognized for having achieved a groundbreaking level of technical and emotional virtuosity in the medium of spray paint.

Clients include Google, Playboy, the Ritz Carlton, MTV Arabia, Anthony Robbins, Heineken, the Blackstone Group,, Rock the Bells, and the TJ Martell Foundation.

His politically charged series вЂњThe Divided States of America,вЂќ commissioned by the entrepreneur Nirmal Mulye, was exhibited in 2012 in conjunction with the Democratic National Convention at the Elder Gallery. In October, 2010 Chor BoogieвЂ™s вЂњThe Eyes of the Berlin WallвЂќ, sold for 500,000 euro making history for the street art genre. His visionary murals and art exhibitions have appeared all over the globe including venues such as the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, the Smithsonian, Museum of Public Arts in Baton Rouge, Museum of Art Puerto Rico, the LA Art Fair, Torrance Art Museum in Los Angeles, Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, Museum of Man in San Diego, San Diego Museum of Art, ChildrenвЂ™s Museum in San Diego, Syracuse University Museum, and the Vision Arts Festival in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. He was recently honored by SociГ©tГ© Perrier as being number three among the Top Ten U.S. Joaquin Lamar Hailey, is a critically acclaimed spray paint artist. California native Lauren Ellis (steel, lead guitar and vocals) joined the band shortly after moving to Austin from Nashville, where she toured with Rita Coolidge, Rosie Flores, Rick Trevino and former Monkee Peter Tork The band was created in 2012 by long-time Austin friends and musicians Bobby Dabbs (lead guitar) and Greg Scarborough (bass guitar and vocals). They perform regularly on the dance hall and club circuit of Central and South Texas.

The band members are all veterans of the Austin, Nashville and California music scenes. Volunteers will sanitize the grounds before, during and after the show.ДЈ Chord Rodeo is an Austin band with deep roots in vintage country music.

HSB POA establishes a 250-person maximum for the pavilion grounds. Masks are optional, but participants are asked to practice social distancing. Participants are encouraged to bring their blanket, a favorite beverage and their friends to enjoy, but to keep in mind the importance of adhering to COVID-19 health policies.
